2D1N Soju Bang Korean Restaurant, Tanjong Pagar

2D 1N has officially won my vote as one of the best Korean restaurants in Singapore!!

A has been telling me how good this restaurant is and I see crowds whenever I walk passed this place. And finally, I had a chance to visit this place for a gathering with my ex-colleagues.

We ordered quite a variety of food from their menu and they were all fairly well prepared! None of the dishes fail on us! Hooray!!!

We were pleased with their side dishes to start with. I love the purple sweet potato! Yummy~

For the carbohydrate, we ordered a spicy rice cake…

And a seafood pancake! These carbohydrates are irresistable <3

Whereas for the protein, we had DIY Napa Warps with Pork…

Soybean Paste Soup (The soup below was the amount served to me, the soup was too far from me >.<).

And Spicy Chicken Stew! (This was too far too!! The soup and the stew came in much bigger pots and large amounts!!)

And, how could we give alcohol a missed in a gathering? Makguli we went!

Nope, we were not drunk! And surprisingly, we still had room for desserts! And so off we walked to Chinatown for some “tong sui”.

A perfect ending to the gathering! Thank you girls :)

Melben Seafood, Toa Payoh

Finally, I got to try the crab at Melben Seafood! Have heard about the fame of it since long long ago, and at last I went with a friend of mine who is a massive crab lover/ eater! Lol.

It might be a bit too much for two, but we could not resist ourselves from ordering a Claypot Crab Bee Hoon Soup and a Chili Crab with fried man tou to share!!

The soup of the Claypot Crab Bee Hoon was rich, milky and tasty! I love the soup for sure!! Could not stop myself from the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and ….. servings. I was in heaven~

Chili crab has always been one of my favourites. And this didn’t disappoint me at all!! It was fingers licking GOOoooOOD~ *yumm yummm

Now, you might be wondering how much food did we leave behind, don’t you? In fact, we didn’t waste much food; we FINISHED all the crabs and approximately three quarter of the bee hoon and man tou!!! Thanks to my friend who is a big eater.

That has also proven how good the food was! Thumbs up!!!

Sui Japanese Dining, Neil Road

My friend who is very into daily deals bought a half off course Japanese fine dining deal from JigoCity. Hence, we got a 50% discount for this dinner which worth SGD$100!

We were first served with plum wine…

Followed by Starters and Sashimi Platter…

Double Boiled Fish Head Consomme, that was quite flavourful to have :)

1 Jumbo (not that JUMBO) Shrimp, for two to share!

Kurobota Pork…

Nigiri Sushi and Maki patter…

And lastly, a really really normal vanilla ice-cream that you can find from any supermarket.

Fairly expensive at its original price in my opinion coz the foods failed to impress me! Anyway, the place is most likely close for renovation now and it will be under a new management then; that’s what we were told during our visit say 2months ago (?).

Don’t think I will revisit again if the standard remains the same :P
