Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow
It is undeniable that many would think that I have been slacking for quite a bit in updating this blog of mine.
Indeed, I admit that I have been not keeping my blog up to date. However, it was not because I was slacking, what I could say is my priority was given to something else. There were too many things to work on in the last couple of months.
And today, after much considerations and thoughts in the last 2 weeks, I am calling it an end to my primary priority which I have been working on over the last 5months. It is a disappointment to both parties, I guess. I could tell from their reply. Sighs.
Nonetheless, it doesn’t mean that I am giving up my dreams; it is just that there are too much constraints and I have been trying to delay the progress to work things out a little on my side, which was truly unfair for the other party.
I accept the finite disappointment, but I will definitely not lose to the infinite hope.
Life is filled with hope. When one door closes, another opens; it doesn’t take me long to understand that. And, that is why I have already had my 2nd and 3rd priorities to fill up the place *winks*
I have no regrets; it is part of my learning path. Indeed, I am grateful for all the supports and love given all these while. I am grateful that whenever I fall, there is always someone to support me. No matter where you al l are and what you all are doing.
Thank you very much my dear all. You all are greatly appreciated.
Having hope and all of you, everything is possible! Cheers.
I promise to work harder to make you all feel proud of me.
Hugs.

Determination
Wait, NO!!! It is really a BIRD. Not one, but two! It is a couple, working hard to build their home sweet home!
This is not the first time we have birds building their nest at our home. But look, this lovely couple was trying to build it at the almost impossible site - the dangling strings from a lamp at our garden. *amazed*
And the progress was definitely not easy for them. They started to work hard since last Saturday. And, when Dad first saw it, he threw away the bits and pieces he found on the strings. Not one time, but two times! GRrr…
(p/s: You must be wondering why did my dad do that to the poor birdies? He had his concerns and worries. The bird’s nest would be right in the middle of our side door once it is done. Hence, it would be an obstruction and Dad was worried that the bird’s nest would be too big and may cause any inconveniences. And Mum was also worried with the mess the birdies may cause. Nonetheless, after much persuasion and knowing the birds are only small little birds, they agreed to let them build their home sweet home at our place! *happy*)
When we thought Dad’s destruction had caused them to give up (as they did not return anymore after 2times of destructions on Saturday!) They were back with more materials on Sunday morning! Yipee~
We were so excited then! Dad commented I looked more excited than the birdies, haha. He also mentioned that the birdies would have a peaceful time doing their home on Monday when there would be no more stalking on them anymore. LOL. Can’t wait to see the favourable results next week when I am back home again, something to look forward to, tsk tsk.
This couple is really two lovely birdies with strong will. They do not fear of challenges. And obstacles have not stopped them from building their dreams at their target place.
We should be determined and fearless in pursuing our goals and dreams, just like these brave birdies. There would be defies and hindrances right ahead awaiting for us no matter what we are doing. That’s life! And that’s part of the learning process, part of our growth!
How you accept the challenges and deal with it is how you are going to shape yourself and your future!
Nothing is impossible as as the word itself says "I'M POSSIBLE!!"
Good luck folks! : )

The Greatest Loss
End of life – such a sensitive topic to touch. And yet, it will eventually happen in everyone’s life.
The loss of a beloved is definitely not easy to cope.
On the 7th April 2011 0829hrs, an unfortunate event occured on last Thursday. A trauma to his much-loved wife, much-adored children, lovely grandchildren and dearest friends.
I couldn’t accept the news when I first learnt about it and how about his family?
I felt the pain and I was trying so hard to hold my tears till it burst on the last night of the wake, and what about his family? I witnessed the masks that they had put on while they were on the “stage” and the broke down behind the scene. It was really despairing.
Love your family. Love your friends. Love your colleagues. Love everyone you would like to treasure. As much as you love yourself.
We are only given today and not promised tomorrow. Treat everyone well, as if there is no tomorrow to compensate. Do what you want to do as soon as possible to leave you with no regrets at the end of the day.

Stay well and happy, for yourself and your loved ones.
Health is the greatest possession whereas happiness is your treasure coz it lies within you. Cheers.

Wealth and Us
In a lot of people's mind, “money = happiness” because money allows them to own big car(s), big house(s), branded stuff, fine dining and the list goes on. And, hence “no money = no happiness”. It is true that no money brings some sort of sorrow. However, money is not everything. Money does not bring the real and eternal happiness.
Money brings only short-term happinessWe got to know that:
Money can buy house, but not home.
Money can buy bed, but not sleep.
Money can buy clock, but not time.
Money can buy book, but not knowledge.
Money can buy food, but not appetite.
Money can buy position, but not respect.
Money can buy blood, but not life.
Money can buy medicine, but not health.
Money can buy people, but not friends.
Money can buy insurance, but not safety.
A man with many desires will never be contented. A person who's never contented can never be happy with life.
Learn to slow down the busy pace occasionally. Learn to look back at times. Learn to appreciate. Learn to share. Learn to enjoy the nature of happiness. Learn to be the true self.
Learning is a big part of life.
Happy Labour Day =).

Bird's Nest
Bird's nest found at the upcoming sanctuary, shifted by construction workers.
Apparently, bird's nest is known as a secret ingredient that suggests greenery in Feng Shui. Therefore, there is a saying that having bird's nest at home signifies well.
Bird's nest found at my current sanctuary
Few days ago, the little one (as shown on the left bottom corner of the picture above) was learning to fly and had been standing at the same position for at least 2days. I guess it had not mastered flying yet and thus unable to go back to its own nest (as shown on the right upper corner of the picture above). I felt really sorry for it and decided to give it a hand. Nonetheless, it was terrified and tried to escape when I touched it. Fortunately, it was not hurt.
At present, birds chirping can be heard every now and then from my living room. Peace.
