Huang Ji, off Depot Road

I think this is my first ever wonton noodles at hawker centre since I have visited Singapore 2yrs ago. This place is somehow quite hidden, located at an industrial area near to Depot Road. I am glad to have known someone who has a nose for good food *winks.

The wonton mee at Huang Ji (also known as Food from Haven) was superlicious and my lunch buddy gave it a crown as the best wantan mee in town!

The noodles were home-made and better than the famous wonton noodles at my hometown *drools

They are definitely not penny-pinching with the filling of their wontons. The wontons were fresh and juicy *happy*

They are really generous in the veggies too. And their veggies were really pleasant surprise. In contrast to the standard veggies that we usually found in noodles, these kai lan were just as nice as their wonton noodles! They were sweet and the stems were a bit crunchy. Worry not, they were definitely not undercooked, but cooked to perfect *LIKE*

Ohh, they sell beef noodles too. So we ordered a plate of stew beef to share. The taste was good, but the meat was not moist and tender enough, it would be better if it was cooked for a while more!

*satisfied*
